South Korea because of rampant Internet piracy,Warner Bros. The DVD is from the South Korean market. Warner Bros. will close its South Korean operations of the DVD issue, and will issue licenses to sell to a local company, which will take over Warner Bros.’s Film distribution business.

So far, South Korea due to the shrinking DVD market, there are many film companies in the United States to withdraw from the Korean market. April this year, Walt Disney Company said in person is no longer the issue, such as DVD and Blu-ray Disc media suite, but to license models. According to the Korea-US free trade agreement, the South Korean government will shut down those who would provide the unauthorized downloading of Internet media site. At the same time, the U.S. A film companies are adjusting their use of new distribution methods.

South Korea’s music industry is also facing the same problem. In 2006, Warner Music Group will be in South Korea’s music business into the issue with Korea Telecom to set up a joint venture in order to better music through mobile phones to be issued.
