India Bhuvan challenge Google Earth

Indian Space Research Organization to prepare to build “Bhuvan”, released over the “Google Earth” higher-resolution map of the network.

“Bhuvan” will be the first to use satellite network to create a bird’s eye view high-resolution map of India, and then may draw a map of the world as a whole. “Google Earth” minimum resolution of 200 meters, “Earth” would be accurate to a resolution of 10 meters.

“Bhuvan” user information will be open free of charge. If the trial version of “Bhuvan” image by check, which is expected to be fully operational by spring next year the application. “Bhuvan” to collect all the information can also help India to carry out the executive branch urban planning, traffic management, water resources and crop monitoring.
